Academy Award®-Winner Catherine Zeta-Jones stars with  Justin Bartha in The Rebound, a lovely romantic comedy film recently released on DVD and Blu-ray.  Catherine plays Sandy, a woman who suddenly finds herself single and back on in the dating pool after she finds out her husband has been cheating on her.   She leaves and takes her  kids with her and they make the move to New York City.  There she tries to tackle her new life and the dating scene.

Sandy meets Aram (Bartha) who’s working at her local coffee shop.   His wife married him to get a green card so he’s struck out in the love department as well.  The pair strike up an unlikely friendship based on their mutual misery and it’s not long before they realize it’s becoming more than a friendship.  But the doubts creep in quickly and they each wonder if this relationship is real or just a rebound and there’s the nagging question about their age difference – one that Aram’s family isn’t too keen on.

It’s a story about love, friendship, and finding the right one.
