The group was put together by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. when he developed a singing trio composed of three animated chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore. The beloved chipmunks Simone, Theodore, and Alvin along with their feminine travel companions, The Chipettes, experience an amazing time throughout a family holiday they’ll always remember in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked , from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Also along for the ride is their caretaker, Dave Seville (Jason Lee; “My Name is Earl”). The group sets off on what they think will be the trip of a lifetime aboard a cruise ship named the Carnival Dream. They seek out fun and excitement and in true Chipmunk form, they turn the luxury ship into their personal playground. But things take a disastorous turn when several of the passengers and crew fall overboard and become ‘chipwrecked.’ Trapped on a isolated island in unfamiliar territory, the castaways must figure out how to stay alive on their own without help.
