Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner - The Twilight stars took part in the hand and footprint ceremony in Hollywood, CA

The stars of Twilight, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, were met by hundreds of adoring fans as they took part in a hand and footprint ceremony in Hollywood. Emceed by Jimmy Kimmell, who brought his best game and kept the unruly crowd entertained even joking that Taylor would be putting his abs in the cement as well.

The series’ writer, Stephenie Meyer, congratulated the trio on their accomplishment and on being able to remain true to themselves throughout their rise in stardom. She also mentioned that while on the set this last year she’s come to respect the hard work and difficult conditions the stars must work in to produce the films.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner‘s prints will join the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, and Harrison Ford outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Kristen, dressed in a nude beaded VERY mini-dress, told the crowd it was “insane” to be taking part in the prestigious ceremony. “I think this is the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” she said. “I just love this business, this is insane that I’m doing this.”

Taylor Lautner thanked the fans and admitted that they wouldn’t be there without them. Robert Pattinson also thanked that fans saying, “It’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time, and it’s all down to you guys to drive this franchise forward, so thank you so much over the years for being so consistent.” He added, “You should all come up here and put your hands it!” Which the crowd loved.
